  I look for sheerness soft feeling and a nice tight fit . Plenty of lycra in the mix

  I look for denier 15 seems to be the sweet spot.

  Durability, nothing more frustrating than pantyhose such as Dim which are great but run easily

  Silkiness smooth to the touch when rubbing your legs together.

  For me its 20 denier.  Comfort is key.  Minimal sagging.  I have Oroblu Magie's on right now but they offer even better lines.  Mind you, Magie's are fantastic. I started out with cheap hose 30 years ago on an intermittent basis.  Discovered Shapings in 2002 and the Safko's steered me into some incredible stuff.  As I have gotten older and look for a balance, its a 20 denier, STW, 92 Nylon, 8 Elastane blend.  some of the real modern synthetic mixes work as well however they do trap some warmth in the summer time.  I'm one who wears pantyhose all the time so consistency is key as its a part of my DNA since I was a young person.  And it does matter does matter that I can help someone else. Pantyhose is a wonderful thing to celebrate.  Color and shade.  Always preferred tan and darker tans.  Lately, black and also dark chocolate.  Today while out doing groceries, I saw a mature woman in a nice black shade.  I was jealous.  Went home and put on a black shade.  More neutral. Not a high gloss but tasteful. I have a soft or darker brown on now for the evening and overnight.
