8 denier / 15 denier can you tell the difference

  Maybe they don't reveal much difference visually in photography, or in this pair photos you've posted, but I wear both 15 as a regular go-to, and 8 in the summer, (same brand) or when I want something very sheer and nearly invisible, or super lightweight and cooler on my legs. There DEFINITELY IS a difference in feel, how they sit on ones legs, and visually.  In certain lighting, the difference is quite pronounced, in my experience.
  
  FWIW, the lower photo of the 2 look like 8 den.

  @Carrie Stuart yes you are correct the lower is 8 denier and you are super correct that the lower denier in the photos may not look that different but they definitely feel more velvety than soft like the 15 denier. But I love the feel of both these calzedonia pantyhose
