Shapings Bra Sizing Clinic Your measurements should be taken while wearing a bra. Make sure you are relaxed and do not pull the measuring tape too tight. Take the following measurements:
Fitting a bra: Slip the straps over the shoulders and holding each side panel, lean forward to let your breasts fall naturally into the cups. The nipples should be in the fullest part of the cups. Pull down at the back until it is anchored under the shoulder blades and fasten the bra in the back or in the front depending on the style (i.e front closure). Adjust shoulder straps allowing one finger to run smoothly under the straps. The front and back of the bra should be straight or slightly lower in the back. If the back has a tendency to rise up, the contour is probably too large, therefore, the back hook closure could be tightened or a smaller size should be chosen. The center seam should be close to the breastbone, without any gaps. For example, this model is showing 30" around her ribcage and then 41" over the bust. That would put her into a size 34DDD according to the following chart
